Biology Courses offered in the MScEd Degree

This course addresses a full range of issues on biological diversity and climate change. The earth’s biological diversity is under threat from pressures, which include habitat fragmentation, land degradation, deforestation, intrusion by invasive species and pollution. Climate change is adding to and interacting with these and other pressures. This course primarily focuses on understanding global patterns of biological diversity and the impact of global climate change on natural systems and diversity. The course’s intent is to provide you with an understanding of the biodiversity and climate change crises as well as ways we can work toward resolving it.
