BZE112: HISTORY AND PHILOSOPHY OF BIOLOGY.

 Course Goals.

• Provide students with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the history and philosophy of Biology up through the early 20^th century.
• Provide students with better understanding of the nature of biology and an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between and among biology, technology and society.
• Provide students with the opportunity to hone teaching skills with the assistance of peer review and self-assessment. The teaching skills honed include;
• Teach and participate in realistic lessons that employ historical approaches

Lead and participate in meaningful discussions about the nature and history of biology
