Explores fundamentals of bacteriology, mycology, and parasitology, emphasizing their relationships to community health. Includes soil, water, wastewater, and industrial microbiology. Topics to be covered in the course will include geomicrobiology, soil microbiology, and aquatic microbiology, as well as some industrial and environmental aspects of microbiology
