Moodle Quizzes

With Moodle you can easily create online quizzes, using a wide variety of question types and many different options as to how and when feedback is given, how the quizzes are graded and shuffling of the questions.

There are 3 main steps to creating a quiz in Moodle:

1) create the quiz object

2) create questions

3) add the questions to the quiz

When you create questions, they are added to a question bank, so they may be used in multiple quizzes at different points in your course, or even in different courses you teach.

A quiz may contain questions of different types, such as multiple choice, long answer, true/false and many more. Most of the answers can be automatically graded, with the notable exception being long answer, where you will still need to grade each response manually.
